I’m Bastien Segura, a Data Engineer with nearly five years of experience designing cloud-native pipelines and automation tools on GCP and Azure. I specialize in turning complex data workflows into reliable, maintainable systems that empower teams and accelerate delivery.

At Capgemini, I’ve led the migration from SQL Server to GCP, built fully automated orchestrations with Cloud Workflows, and trained a 30-engineer squad through monthly game-based workshops. Earlier at CGI, I modernized Azure platforms, automated deployments, and became the go-to for BI dashboards and ETL pipelines.

I thrive on solving performance challenges—like cutting a 24-hour pipeline down to just 20 minutes—and on building internal tools that make data engineering accessible. Beyond work, I explore side projects ranging from a rules-based trading engine to a personal site built with Next.js and a secure Flutter password manager.
